A first real payment, tested

CIB and Edahabia e-payment

Online payment in Algeria does not start with the button: it starts with a bank file at GIE Monétique. The CIB card and Edahabia are the two ways your customers pay online, and integrating them into your website or store is a path with known steps — from the SATIM file to test mode to the first real payment. We have walked this path end to end for a learning platform (somuacademy.com), so we know where the bank file slows down, when the site is ready and what to check before opening payment to everyone.

Quoted per projectThe price depends on your site's platform (ready-made or custom store), the number of payment methods (CIB alone or with Edahabia) and your banking situation. We quote after a first reading of your project — the bank file itself is your bank's decision, not ours.

What you get

  • SATIM bank-file support with your bank: documents and steps up to the signed contract
  • Technical integration of the payment gateway into your site, store or platform
  • Test mode first, then production after the bank's approval
  • Documentation of every step so you can verify it yourself
  • A tested first real payment and verification that it arrived

Who it suits

  • A business with an online store that wants to accept CIB and Edahabia
  • A learning platform or digital service that wants to charge directly
  • A business that wants to collect a subscription, booking or recurring service

How it runs

Three stages that keep the project clear from day one.

01

Reading and the bank file

We read your current situation and prepare with you the SATIM file presented to your bank, up to the signed contract.

02

Technical integration

We connect the gateway to your site in test mode and check every flow before any real payment.

03

Going live

After the bank's approval we switch to production and test with you a first real payment and its arrival.

04

Follow-up

We stay with you after launch: daily settlement checks, fixing any issue and keeping the gateway updated.

Common questions

What is the difference between the CIB card and Edahabia?

Both are Algerian bank cards issued under the GIE Monétique system: CIB is the online-payment card of the banks, and Edahabia is the prepaid card of Algérie Poste. To accept them in your store you sign a contract with a bank or with Algérie Poste through the SATIM file.

How long does the bank file take?

The duration belongs to the bank and GIE Monétique alone: we prepare and support your file, but the decision and its timing are theirs. Budget weeks rather than days, and start the technical side in parallel without waiting.

Do I need a full store to accept online payment?

No: the gateway is added to an existing site, store or platform, or we build it together with the site from the start. What matters before payment is a reliable, fast and clear site — customers pay a site they trust.

Can I accept payments without moving?

The technical part, yes: we integrate it remotely and bring it live with you step by step. The banking part requires your presence with your bank at some stages, depending on the bank.

Who owns the customer data and the payments?

You do: the bank account and the gateway's merchant account are in your company's name, and the data reaches you. We integrate and document, and we keep no key or account after delivery.

Do the amounts arrive directly or through an intermediary?

Every payment is settled to your bank account under your contract with the bank or Algérie Poste — deferred or immediate settlement and its terms belong to that contract, not to us.
